Vrus scanning on http!

Is that possible to scan http traffic against to viruses in future realeses. 
Nowdays there are many sites in web that are infected with trojans or other viruses.

 It would be nice to block that hole too. Mail is already protected.

    Have you any virisprogram now who can scan your http? or block  the extentions of files like exe or pif or src on surf protections.

    Actually there is nice program out of the market named DansGuardian  DansGuardian. I have been tested it and this is very handsome. 

    One add-on is DansGuardian Anti-Virus Plugin  link. I haven't tried because, it needs pretty good hardware.

    You must först have some sorts off unix i look in the link you have in here. But i´m think ASL are better to use becuse you must först have some unix to install DansGardian on and you must know what you do becuse it´ is gzip files.

    This was discussed on another post; since http is an interactive protocol, it would introduce delays. With a mail message, who cares; but with a person waiting for a website they need to come up -watch out!

    So the practical state of the art is to disallow certain content types in your browser and regulate your browser's security settings (with IE, you can specify a list of sites that are allowed to run script, and deny all others, and then distribute that to your users; I wish Opera and some other browsers had that feature!).

    Yes, delays are problem for users. They don't want to use slow internet and start to complain  . Even if I could deny some filetypes in http traffic like (zip, exe, bat) or/and music/film filetypes, it would be nice. 
    The Squid is able to do this but can I do this ASL? 

     I tried to search, but no results. Any ideas?

    Yes you can do it on ASL if you have surfprotections for ASL and you can deny any files for users

    Can you just deny All file types?  (*.exe, *.zip) or a certain glob that matches a certain string?

    well, there are a lot of anti-virus-programms scanning the http-traffic inclusive attachements specified by user/admin.
    example: interscan viruswall by trendmicro (http/ftp/smtp).
    ... and i can also tell you guys: a decent cpu on your proxy/relay and there will by no delay.
