CPU Utilization

The web interface hardware reporting page says that the cpu utilization is at 14% (which seems high considering it really isn't doing much) but if I do a ps -aux the cpu utilization doesn't add up to anything close to that.  What's up?

    I wouldn't worry about 14% CPU usage. There are a lots of processes running, e.g. the selfmonitoring.

    I'm running it on a PII 300.  Version 4.017.  
    I'm just wondering why the web interface says one thing and then when I look at the running services using ps they don't add up to that much.  14% seems like a lot considering I'm still setting it up so it's not doing anything.  only one of the nics is active right now  too.

    From what I've seen on a P200, the web interface running over a secure connection (https) adds a decent about of load to these slower processors.  Its nothing to worry about though as the usage drops a lot once you log out of the web interface.
