Future version improvement?

I would like to separate the Cobion service (must pay for it) and the white/black lists typed by the user that should be included in the price of the Enterprise service.

I have the need to generate white/black lists for my web proxy users but I don't want to pay the Surf Protection  license since I'm not interested on Cobion services.

I know this can be done by configuring the Squid manually but then is not well integrated.

Well.... it is a desire... that's all

    Add my vote to this one. . .in fact, how about going a step further and allowing black/white lists from a specified source (say a file or a url) so we could create our own shared list or use other ones?  Given the ingenuity of ASL users, I bet we could create a pretty nice categorized list and somebody'd host it. . .maybe there already is something like this that I don't know about?

    If we categorized this list properly, it could wind up achieving some of the granularity I haven't been able to achieve with Cobion because their categories are too broad anyway.  Cobion is both costly and not that good. . .and I say this from the personal experience of actually administering a paid license for it.

    This is something I would like to see as well. Not so much for catagorization, but to help blocking specific sites that do nothing but spyware... such as friendgreetings.com and others. Right now I have to lookup the ip's, and create drop rules for them.

    I'll add my vote for this feature as well.  It would add a lot to the ASL product, making a great product that much better!
