Experiences with wireless?

Hi all, we're getting ready for another Astaro install in a small business office (one floor, about 4 rooms).  The business owner is interested in wireless, but before we recommend this I'm wondering if anyone here has anything good/bad to say about wireless experiences with ASL.  The network will have a Windows 2003 server and about 5 workstations.  The office is small enough that we could run wire without a great deal of difficulty, but it's also small enough to just use wireless if that will work well.  What I don't want to do is put in a wireless network and end up pulling wire anyway because it isn't reliable.  Thoughts?  Your experiences?

    Hi !
    I’m running a wireless home network for more than 1 year now - no problems at all (up to now  [;)]ent.
    My home is a one-story building; the AP is mounted under the roof and is covering the whole house, the terrace and even most of my 250 sqm garden. For Internet only the 11Mbps stuff was good enough, but for server-access, file transfer and big print-jobs the 54Mbps are noticeable faster. The only modification I did to the hardware, was to replace the original antennas with D-Link ones (5dBi instead of 2dBi).
    At the moment my AP is not built into the firewall (lack of supported hardware a year ago), but I’m working on an “all inclusive” version using a Netgear WG311 (54Mbps) PCI card.
    My biggest problem was and still is TIME – I never have enough spare time to do all the things I want to !!!

    I've been using a Atheros based A/B/G card with the MADWIFI driver since 4.016 and it has been excellent as an access point.  To get this solution working you need to make modifications to a few of the shell and perl scripts Astaro uses.  The driver is still classified as beta so always expect some issue with each build, I'm also in the process of setting up the Astaro box to use the Prism drivers from prism54.org site for prism duette, GT and Indigo based cards.  
    Broadcom as far as I can tell does not have any linux code available so stay away from any Broadcom based cards.

    Is there any documentation or something that point to install Atheros WLAN card in Astaro?
    I'm interesting to the atheros card as an Access Point combine with Astaro.

    And if possible the configuration/documentation with Prism card too?
