bounced emails from firewall

All of a sudden emails from the Astaro firewall are not reaching me. An example is below. Has anyone seen this before.

[bounce] -> do-not-reply@fw-notify.net
Subject: [fw1.virtualrack.net] [WAR 035] Mail delivery failed : returning message to sender
Cause: 2003-10-26 01:15:06 Received from <> R=1ADf7B-0003WL-SV U=exim P=local S=108178
2003-10-26 01:15:06 do-not-reply@fw-notify.net R=dnslookup T=remote_smtp: retry time not reached for any host after a long failure period
*** Frozen (delivery error message)

The ironic thing is that I still receive other notifications related to the POP3 proxy messages. I just don't receive backup configurations or update notifications.

    Your DNS-lookup obviously failed. This could be for several reasons, but the most likely reasons seems to be that the SMTP-server at fw-notify.net was down, or you're having trouble with your DNS-configuration.

    It could off course also be generel problems on the net between you and the SMP-server.

    That's confusing - are you sure it's not just a coincidense?
