Need some Tips for Configuration

Hi there!

I configured my astaro and did all available updates. My DSL-connection is killed every 24 hours by my ISP. Sometimes the firewall isn't able to reconnect and the only option I have is doing a reboot to bring it back online.

My Hardware is AMD Duron 1200 / 384MB RAM / 6GB Harddisk

Has anyone a clue why my connection isn't reconnecting correctly? Are there any special options I have to enable to fix it?

    Normally DSL is working very good with ASL, even the reconnect.
    A Workaround could be a "halfautomatic" reconnect.
    Make a cronjob, that kills the pppoe-prozess every night. ASL will automatically reconnect. By doing this you also have the advantage that you know exactly when the connection is going down/up.

    Sounds good but I'm not very used to Linux-Shell and stuff around it. Can you say where and what I have to change? To make the reconnect at 04:00 AM.
