FTP-Question

Good Morning,

maybe someone can help me.
Sometimes users try to do some FTP-Transfer.
Firewall-Rules are configured correctly for direct access (no proxy). This works for a long time.
But from time to time it happens that they can login to the Ftp-server, but they cannot list or transfer any directories or files.
After a reboot of ASL everything works again.
I tried this with different clients an different settings (like passive mode etc.), but no change.
Does anyone known where i can look to catch this problem ?
I think it must be on the Firewall.

    the port-scan detection could be the reason for your problem. 
    try turning it off when the problem occurs again, then try to connect to the server. if it works, include the ftp server in the port-scan exception list.
