Web access to Packet Filter - Rules not working.

I have been editting packet filter rules on my home ASL box via webmin ASL Version 4.014)

I recently added a rule for FTP traffic and hit save and now I can no longer get into Packet Filter-Rules via web admin.
All other parts of web administration appear to work except for Rules.

I click on Rules and the browser just sits there with the globe spinning.  Will try to reboot it now.

    Nope.  Restart via web admin has not fixed the error.

    Issue fixed itself during nightly maintenance.

    You shouldn't take it personal; this is the first time I'm reading it.

    Because the board shifts posts around by last post (as opposed to maintaining order by date opened), a subsequent post can make it drop down in the list and one misses it. Reposting like you did can push it up, but another alternative post can knock it down again.

    I see numerous posts on browser connection flakiness. If I had to bet, I'd say this one was a Perl script/concurrent process/file access lockup; but [notice to all other posters reporting webadmin flakiness] browser ideosynsracies should be ruled out by using an alternative browser like Opera or lynx. The Java object model can be a tricky one, and browsers can sometimes fall down on it.

    If the browser is then confirmed not to be the cause, then see my new post in hackers forum (Astaro wants Linux discussions confined there).

    Failing that, report it and the fact that all the above was done, and I should think they will take it seriously.
