Log File Parsing

You should be able to use the linux apps on your windows box using cygwin (www.cygwin.com).  

Unfortunately, I don't know of any for windows. 

Thanks for the link. The main reason I don't have a linux box is I don't know linux well.... that is why I was looking for a Win app....   

If you find something written in perl, you can use it on your windows box using activeperl for windows:

I made a feature suggestion a while back: have the log files as XML, then you can use various XSLTs to slice and dice.

Anything at this point would be a help for me. I submit my files to dshiled.org and 1 days log files can take me up to 4 hrs to parse by hand..... would love to speed it up a bit  [;)]

Actually talked to a buddy of mine who is a programer. We are going to sit down and make a prog that can do this parsing in windows.  I would love to learn Linux but at this point in my life I am way to busy....Gotta spend time with the family..
