Sender Adress Verification

I have some problems with "Sender Adress Verification"!

I've got a mail from info@go-auftrag.de
This mail was rejected!

When i check the domainname (MX-Record), i got the following answer:

go-auftrag.de   MX preference = 5, mail exchanger = go-auftrag.de
go-auftrag.de   MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = backupmx.ecore.net

go-auftrag.de   internet address = 217.9.114.27
backupmx.ecore.net      internet address = 212.63.130.49

So i think the domain exists.

Why does the mail get rejected!

    I deactivated the Verification and it works fine!

    "Sender Address Verification, without the additional Callout function, will only be checked if the envelope sender address (also known as "return path") has a valid MX or A record in DNS. With the Callout function activated, the proxy connect to the return-path host and issue a RCPT command to see if the sender address is really deliverable."


    Thus straight sender address verification doesnt require the mailserver to support it, but callouts does, since the other side may have some sort of RCPT blocking (like asl supports) or other server side things (like aliases) that mess Callouts up.

    That's true, but I've had cases where that fails too.
    (Although the sender is valid).  Possibly due to hostname addition to mail domain ?
