Connection Tracking

How is the timeout of connection in the Connection Tracking window controlled.

I have a massive increase in connections between the Firewall and my webserver, with a timeout of 3 days or more.

    Hi grimBeast,

    I had that problem a few weeks ago, too. But I used MLDonkey instead of an Webserver. In my case the connectiontracking was broken. A restart fixed it. The never had the problem again.

    Hi,

    the satndard tcp timer is 5 days this means if a connection isn't closed properly (you know FIN, FIN ACK aso) it would remain that long in the connection tracking table. Not sure anymore but I think UDP connections remain for 3 minutes.
