Overlapping harddisk partitions with ASL 4

Hi,
I just installed ASL 4 on my Lex Light system. After installation I checked the partition table with fdisk (copied from a Mandrake 9.0). Here is the output:

Partition 1 does not end on cylinder boundary:
     phys=(650, 2, 36) should be (650, 15, 63) 
/dev/hda2             651       1171    262144   82  Linux swap

/dev/hda4         28124     79780  26034654    5  Extended
/dev/hda5         28124     39734   5851245+  83  Linux
/dev/hda6         39734     40181    225279+  83  Linux

/dev/hda8         41299     52908   5851245+  83  Linux
/dev/hda9         52908     79780  13543681+  83  Linux 

You can see that all partitions are overlapping. Only the root partition hda7 ends with cylinder 41298 and hda8 starts with cylinder 41299. I compared this with ASL3 and Mandrake. At this systems all partitions are not overlapping.

Any comments ?

    that's true. I also recognized that. This is why Drive Image an other tools are not working with ASL 4. But there is no really other problem!? I think ASL is working fine with this partitioning. Maybe there will be a fix in the future for that.
    Do you had some really trouble with that problem? Or did you just noticed it?

    The swap partition overlaps with two other partitions. Image what happens if the filesystems writes to swapspace -> crash?
    If the swapspace writes to the filesystem it will be corrupt. I already had this problem with another linux box (not astaro).

    I don't think this is acceptable for a computer system at all and especially for a firewall this is a real big problem! 
    I hope the astaro people will fix this bug very quickly!
