Adding additional commands to startup scripts ?

G'day,

I have recently installed ASL4 and must say... I am very impressed. There are a few "additional commands" that I would like to add to the startup script, so that I can force the speed and duplex settings on my NIC cards (as they don't auto-negotiate properly). I could not find an "rc.local" file , so I assume these commands need to be put elsewhere ?
I tried adding them to the bottom of "/etc/init.d/rc.astaro" file but the commands were not executed after a reboot.

Any ideas ?

Hi Cyclops,

Thanks for the reply. Is this file definatly the right place to put my commands ? I see there is already other scripting info in there.

If I put it in there ... where in the file should I "insert" my commands ?

Yes. Put your lines to the bottom. Make a bakup of these lines befor you make up2dates.
