Licensing questions

I'm a little confused about the licenses, for what i know  the home user has a limitation of 2 NICs..
but how many PC can access internet via astaro w/home license?

what if leave astaro without any license, what happens after 30 days(was it 30 days?)?.

Also, what are the packages that are asked to install which don't comply to GPL or something like that, because i haven't seen anywhere what features are included in that package(and what happens if you choose not to install)?

    The home user supports 3 interfaces and 10 ips legally.

    If the license expires, then the firewall will still operate, however you will be unable to access the webadmin until you acquire a new license.

    Lastly, the packages you are asked to install during installation are the proprietary packages that are not part of the GPL, however the choice to install only the GPL packages and not both sets will lead to little more than a stripped down linux installation with no webadmin or other Astaro features...not very useful.

    What do you mean by "legally", what happens if an 11th device tries to acces internet through astaro?, will it let it or just ignore the requests?

    interesting, so the GPL question is purely a "legal" one more than a technical one.

    Interesting discussion, I was wondering the same. what will happen to pc #11? Will it get through or maybe not? Reason I ask is because  my son has lan parties that will be 10-15 folks and sometimes they will get on the internet to play with other gamers in a 32 person game. Just wondering.
