Up2date 4.010 - MiddleWare not running

Hello,

I just applied Up2date 4.010; Almost instantly I got an email saying "MiddleWare not running".  I rebooted the ASL box to see if that would correct the problem, however, it did not.  I continue to get emails saying that MiddleWare is not running (restarted 59 times, etc).

Also, I have noticed that the box is VERY slow in response when in the web management.  When I disable the SMTP proxy the response returns to normal.

Anyone else seeing this?

    Hello,

    for me it's even worse.
    I also got the mails, rebooted and now I get no more connection  to the box. No webmin, no ssh-login. Several reboots didn't help.

    Now I'm running on my backup-box on 4.009.

    Actually, I have the EXACT same problem.  When I said I rebooted above I did not realize that the box never rebooted when I told it to.  I actually had to ssh into the box and shut it down manually.  After that it never came back up.

    I have a big mess on my hands -- thank god for the weekly config backups.

    Me too!

    Im so glad that i got my backup this monday morning by email. Phew!
