NEW ASL Install

HENDO
 need some assitance with a new ASL setup ? this is for home use ............DSL with static IP having problems with getting to internet

    If you've got ASL already installed and cabled into your network, start by logging on to the new ASL box (with loginuser / password) and then su to the root account.   Then run ifconfig and share with us your settings... check default routes, etc... sorry if this is overly basic, but given the shortness of info in your inquiry... hope this helps,
