What is running and When?

I have looked in the Crontab and found nothing out of the ordinary. I am having a problem, every night a 9:50 pm Central time my Astaro box kills my Internal Network cold. I have to reboot each machine. I know it's not the nic I swapped the DMZ and Internal to opposite NIC's. Now I am looking for all events that are running and rotating or closing. Once each machine is rebooted it's fine again till the same time. I am using Static IP's due to I thought this was a DHCP problem. I have looked at the packet filter rules and NAT. Found nothing out of place there. I run the DNS proxy other than that it's all Packet Filter which on the internal all is trusted right now till I figure out this gliche.

    sounds weird but I don't believe that the your problem is related to the firewall. If you can reproduce it as said I would install a packet sniffer on an affected machine to find out what's going on. Checkout http://www.ethereal.com . By the way I would be very interested in the result.

    You won't believe it, but now I have the culprit. Now to find the source. It is an event taking place for browser election . i have a computer that is a workstation that thinks it's th Domain controller. It kills the entire internal network thinking it's GOD. I will post the reults when I get done with that machine. I run a workgroup on this side not a domain so not sure how it is doing this.

    I'm still puzzled about this. I don't have any reason why there should be a browser election on the workgroup. It did it again tonight but this time it only hit one event log the rest were offline before it logged it. Anyone have any ideas?

    Windows workgroups still do elections, if you don't want elections then you need to set one pc has the master and tell the others to not be masters
