Separate Cobion service and lists generation

I find quite difficult to understand why to generate manually blacklists based on URL I must purchase the Cobion option which I not using.

Let me explain. My company's way of letting access to WEB is having a "good list" for all users where we append URLs one by one. Now our current proxy BlueCoat (former CacheFlow) let you to create lists without hiring Smartfilter or Websense. You just make a list of URLs not categories.

But ASTARO in order to create that URLs lists (without categories) must buy the Cobion option which is cheaper that Smartfiler or Websense but that is not the case, the case is that we don't use categories system we use URLs lists.

Any idea or could be for a new version of ASTARO?????

    For this, when specifying white and black lists, you are essentially controlling what is allowed to be surfed and what is not, thus it is under "Content Filtering" which is provided by Cobion-partnered features of the ASL. For the money, you get excellent value in the Surf Protection option.
