License Infomation please

I am a systemadmin at a Dutch school wich consist of serveral buildings. 
Each building has 1 ADSL for normal internet traffic (http/mail)
and 1 SDSL for infrastructure (Terminal server and such)

I have RedHat 7.3 based Clarkconnect for gateway/http proxy and stuff on the ADSL's.

I want Astaro on the SDSL's (more secure)
I think I need 6 Astaro boxes with each 2 Nic's.

What licens(es) should I need for the Astaro's guarding the SDSL's. Astaro's sole purpose is:
- letting known ip's into the terminalserver
- Setting up vpn's. About 5 maybe 10 each
Occasional (when ADSL is down) internet.

Astaro won't be used for http, mail or anti-virus

License says things about nic's or protected ip's 

I am not sure what licenses we need. Not sure even if we need any.

PS Had contact with 2 Dutch distributors who adviced differently.

    John,

    first thing first, you definitly need a license. The size is depending on the number of protected IP addresses by the Astaro as well as the number of interfaces and VPN tunnels you need. I can't give you a definite answer here since I do not fully understand your network setup. You should send an email to sales@astaro.com for clearification.

    But that's what I did. Ofcourse  [;)]

    direct after that I find one distributer, he said ONE office 25 would be enough. Next I was contacted by another distributer (cause of the mail) , he said SIX office 10 licenses. 1 per Astaro

    Questions:
    Nic's in license, the number of nic's per Astaro or the number of nic's in the lan guarded by Astaro?
    IP's in license, the number of IP's per Astaro or the number of IP's in the LAN?.

    I want to use 5 maybe 6 Astaro's. Can I add all the nic's/IP's together getting one license or do I need one license per Astaro?

    Since I don't use the extra features in Astaro, like antivirus and stuff is there some light version?

    Arrggghhh Questions questions....  [:S]

    Don't get me wrong, don't want to be on the front row for nothing, and I don't want unlicensed (illegal in use) stuff in my lan's. But I need to guard finances heavily.

    I also would like to know to whom you have spoken before because it seems that
    someone needs some training on howto license Astaro Security Linux correctly :-)

    As a matter of fact each Firewall needs its own license but for educational and
    non profit organisations we offer special prices. Virus as well as SurfProtection
    are optional.
