Power use license rejected!! Keygen requested

Due to a unacceptable policy change Astaro doesn't provide power use licences anymore to private astaro users.
Till now Astaro was able to keep out the keymakers because they provided the proper licences to home users like me. Now they don't do this anymore so start working and make a keygen.

Special thanks to Oliver Desch from Astaro because he really spend to much time behind a screen and has forgotten how to communicate with the rest of the world in a proper way.

I will probably stop using Astaro because me license has expired and i'm using more than 3 networkcards which cannot be used with a normal home use license.

    Why should you get something for nothing ?  Try supporting the community on here some more and Astaro will supply you with a free Power User license.  Your post is incorrect in it's facts.

    Hi Erwin, the license is for Power users who SUPPORT on here. You don't have enough posts to qualify as a power user who actively supports on here now do you? 

    I hate to say it though, using your real name and actively promoted the use of a keygen which would rip off our Astaro friends really makes me mad. Plus, I would hate to have you working for me as a "Senior system administrator / Technical consultant" when you are actively asking for piracy.

    Programmers have to make a living too, and they don't do it by giving away the best parts of their product for free to someone who surely does not meet the requirements that have been set forth for said license. 

    I have already spent over $12,000 with Astaro since buying my initial license, and I would gladly keep giving them more money as long as they are around (and my work keep using their product [:)] )

    Its very true, I too have advised companies that I work with to spend fairly significant amounts of money on Astaro and would even if there was no power users program.

    Wow. I'm sure Astaro guys will be very disappointed to learn that you won't be renewing your FREE license and will stop promoting their product. Since they are obviously around to work day and night on software that they should be giving away (since that pays the bills and all), this will come as a major disappointment for them. 

    Well since it's "just open source" you should have no problem compiling something up of a similiar calibre in no time that will address your needs.

    You oughtta be run out of this forum on a rail for advocating cracking ASL just because you can't get a freebie on it!    A whole lot of us who aren't power users (and don't have a power license at home) at least contribute to both Astaro sales and these forums.

    I don't know how you can single out Oliver for special venom, either.  In my experience he's the most responsive of all the Astaro techs and has solved quite a few of the problems for which I came to the forum.  Your facts stink as bad as your attitude!

    Astaro could probably use some more creative licensing and fee schedules to open the gate wider for us small users, but your comments (coming from an 8-post user) aren't gonna lead to any improvements.  Get a clue already!

    Maybe requesting a keygen is a bit far, but actualy i am an active ubb member. Astaro changed it's policy, which means almost nobody will receive the power use license.

    The reason why I'm mad is the way Astaro treated me. Now I realise I have done the same to them, which I am sorry of.

    For people how think I don't want the pay for it, they are wrong. Till today I have paid for de anti-virus module. When the power user license becomes a paid option a would probably buy it to.

    I would like to understand how you think you are an active member? You have been reged for almost a year, and have a total of 9 posts, 2 of which have been in this thread.

    The stated requirments for the power user license say "The power use license is a free-of-charge license if you are an active support power user in our Bulletin Board".

    It may just be me, but I sure don't consider 7 posts in a year an active support power user.

    Plus, after looking at all of your posts, all I see is requests for help, nothing supporting someone else.  [:S]

    Some, if not all of us, who have power user licenses had to work for them.  If Astaro started to just give them to anybody who just asked for it, and ignored the requirements, then those of us who actually have followed the requirements would have wasted our time now wouldnt we.
