HA and Backups

I recently upgraded from ASL 3.2 to 4.007. The upgrade went fine and all works. At the same time I enable HA between 2 Astaro boxes. The machines are identical in all aspects and everything works except for the emailed backup. I can manually get the backup emailed by manually performing the option, but the daily automated email backup is no longer functions. Anyone else having this issue?

Same problem here using ASL 4.007 on an Intel MU440EX/Celeron 366 and ASL 4.107 on an ASUS TX97/K6-2 400. Haven't tried ASL 4.008 yet.

I thought it was just me. I've been trying to troubleshoot the problem in various ways from time to time with no results thus far. Neither ASL SMTP queue & log, nor local mail server logs show any indication of ASL trying to mail the backkup automatically (daily).

Hi alltogether,

this problem is already fixed in ISO 4.008. We expect an Up2Date for version
4.007 -> 4.008 shortly, please stay patient.

I finally installed the 4.008 ISO on an ASUS TX97/K6-2 400. Daily automatic backup works fine on this installation.
