This software is awesome so far,I have questions.

This software seems to be quite awesome.  I have been using that piece of crap Microsoft ISA server and I am fed up with it.  This software is fast, easy to configure and seems to be almost perfect.  I have a question for all of the GURUs out there.  This isn't exactly a business related question.  I do work for an IT company and would love to talk this software up.
How does Astaro handle hi bandwidth games such as battlefield 1942? I know that MS ISA server can barely handle it.  How would this software handle mulitple connections at high bandwidth?  MS ISA server cannot even handle 3 connections for a game of starcraft.  How many high bandwidth connections can be handled by a P2 400mhz with 640 megs of RAM?  ISA server barely functions on a computer like that.  Final question, Can a ipsec client pass through an Astaro firewall reliably?  
Sorry for so many questions but seeing this firewall software for the first time has made me giddy. I think I have maybe found a great linux solution at last......

    Regarding your throughput questions. I myself run a few 1942 Servers, and a 34 player server uses about 3-6Mbits/sec total bandwidth depending on the map. As long as you have an internet connection (if using Internet Servers) that can handle this sort of bandwidth, you wont see any problems. The throughput of the Astaro can easily hit 65-70Mbps unencrypted on a 100mbit LAN, and far beyond that with gigabit interfaces. I'm confident if you do some testing you will not find the Astaro causing any bottlenecks in a gaming setup. 

    As for your IPSec question, Astaro does not currently support IPSec pass through, however you can connect directly to the Astaro with IPSec using a client such as SSH Sentinel, and use the astaro as an IPSec VPN gateway.

    Well first off I also use ISA on a low end P3 and it works fine so I have to say you got some real messed up config on the NT box... [:S]

    On the other hand... 

    I am currently running a ASL 4.007 box in a 3 nic config on a p3 500 with 256mb ram.  This machine sits on a 200+mb internet connection protecting multiple machines with a few which live as BF 1942 and RVS servers. 

    I have run a 48 BF server behind this with no issues in performance. I run a 26 player CAL/TWL match server with teamspeak -- most players average a 40ms ping.

    I have also seen this box hold at 75mbs for a high volume web site we host with no issues.

    I use 3com nics on a older Cisco XL switch and experiance no crc or any other ethernet related errors.  Box CPU averages 10% most of the time with jumps to 20% during high loads.  I am not using any proxys.

    You will not be dissappointed with Astaro.
