Could you clarify this? Do you get a page not found error, does your browser crash, or do you just get the login screen again and need to re-login? 

I have the same problem. I usually get page cannot be displayed. It is due to a timeout.  I also cannot ping the firewall at this time.  Typically if I try to not connect at all to the firewall via any means, Including ping , and I wait about 5 to 10 minutes then the firewall works again.  It is like the whole firewall goes dead. If you go onto the firewall itself you can ping both the internal and external network.  ICMP routing is on.  I do see a great deal of IP spoofing from the internal network, but I know the ip addresses of the machines and they are not IP spoofing. Any Ideas?

i receive the logon screen again and again, yes. but only with IE. Mozilla works fine.  

IP Spoofing is Very bad! That means that you should check your configuration and make sure you have the Astaro plugged in correctly. Spoofing errors will cause all sorts of problems and you should never see them if you have a properly configured astaro. If you have both the internal and external interfaces plugged into a switch, that will cause lots of spoofing since the Astaro is seeing both sides of the network. You should attempt to correct those errors.  

Thanks AngeloC that is exactly how I have it setup.  Does it say that somewhere in the documentation that you cannot plug both LAN and WAN into a switch?  how can it see the other network if it is on a completely different subnet? Could this be causing the strange behavior of the software?  The constant disconnecting?   

Not sure if it says this directly in the documentation, however I'll help you fix this issue right here. If you have out of your Internet feed the need to split the traffic between "astaro" protected traffic and another public or different firewalled network, then you should add a small switch directly behind the Internet Gateway (like a cable or DSL modem), then go from there to the astaro ext. side, and from the astaro internal side to the switch controlling the "protected by ASL" network. Then if you have further connections (not the astaro side), run them from the swtich u have directly behind the internet gateway. Here is my basic ascii layout


netgateway------->astaro box>------>switch--->protected network

if you require this setup:

netgateway----->small switch------->astaro box--->switch--->protected network 
_________________|
_________________|-->bigger switch, different firewall etc..




This will prevent any spoofing errors. [:)]y hey?)
