anti-virus gateway scanning

Asl 4.x is able to do POP3 and SMTP Virus scanning, but only if you have the Anti Virus option Licensed.

so i can use it as not only a firewall for my home network(growing to 12 currently at 4 machines) but a "virus-wall"?  Are the signatures updated often enough where i would not need to run my e-mail anti-virus scanners on my client machines?

you can buy a license at https://www.leanshop.de/start/astaro/. You have the choice to Update the Pattern-Files hourly, dayly or weekly.
