anti-virus gateway scanning

Does Astaro intend to make the anti-virus module able to scan pop and/or SMTP traffic instead of just SMTP?

    so i can use it as not only a firewall for my home network(growing to 12 currently at 4 machines) but a "virus-wall"?  Are the signatures updated often enough where i would not need to run my e-mail anti-virus scanners on my client machines?
