First of all - i installed now the first time
Astaro Security Linux for testing - it looks very fine
but i dont understand why the Support for "slower"
hardware isnt there. I searched here on the Forum
and found that P1 CPUs wont work [:S]
I have some questions too (maybe it can be added
in the next release if its not inclused?) ...
1. Is the Kernels Conf file Stored on the Box?
I tryed to find the Conf file but its not there ...
2. Is the Kernels src on the release not included?
I Have a small Box that i want to use as Firewall
( Pentium I - 133 MHZ , 128 MB PS2 Ram )
and 8 GB HDD Space . I still dont understand why
ISA Network Cards are not supportet ... a simple
example is that we have some SDSL links - with a max
BW of 4 Mbit/s up and down on some locations ...
So i put on the Old Box 2 Old 3com 10 Mbit Cards
and 1 - 100 Mbit Card (for lan side) in it. Hardware will
be enough for that what i want to do - i guess ...
I just like to get the default conf file with the settings
and maybe the used kernel src if its possible? (for recompile
and add Pentium 1 and Isa Support ...).
I hope i get help here thank you!
