PPPoATM with Alcatel Speed Touch Home?

Hi Forum Users,
before downloading Astaro Linux Demo CD (bandwidth costs...) I'd like to know if it supports PPPoATM ADSL connections as described in section 3.2.5 of the Linux DSL Howto ( Linux DSL Howto ).
Specifically I need to be able to make a PPTP connection over the ethernet segment going from my firewall WAN-side NIC to the Alcatel modem internal NIC.

I did not read the howto, but we support PPPoA in V4 .. why not give it a try ?

Hi,

Support for PPPoA sounds extremely promising! Conexant AccessRunner is a reference design used by various cheap PCI ADSL adapters. Does ASL4 have driver (module CnxADSL.o) for Conexant AccessRunner chip?
