Update 4.003 crashed my box ?

Hi Folks,

yesterday i've installed the 4.002 and 4.003 Update. The 4.002 worked smoothly but 4.003 didnt run complete. It stopped at a point i can't remember. So i restarted ASL, but since then i can't access the Webadmin, it crashes during startup.

Is there any chance of reinstalling 4.003 from the console to fix this problem ?

    Hy Andre, 
    check /etc/version first. Is it 4.003, the Up2date was succesfull. 
    During the installation the webadmin is restarted and after a few seconds webadmin should be accessable again. 
    So, restart the webadmin by '/sbin/init.d/httpd restart'

    If the version under /etc/version is still 4.002 clean up the 
    /var/recovery/incoming directory  , check /var/recovery/version (should also be 4.002) and restart update process
    from console by '/sbin/aus' for getting  the latest up2date package and install it  with '/sbin/ainstall --upto 4.003'

    I updated two boxes yesterday. On one box the webadmin interface started normaly. On the other box the http daemon did not start correctly. I had to SSH to the box to restart the daemon again. I have no idea why this happend.....

    Hi Michael, thanks for the answer so far,  the version is 4.003. I tried to restart the webadmin but got this :

    :: Stopping WebAdmin
    -> failed
    :: Starting WebAdmin
    /sbin/init.d/httpd: line 43: 13366 Segmentation fault      /usr/sbin/httpd -f /etc/httpd/httpd.conf >/dev/null 2>&1
    -> failed
    :: Restarting WebAdmin
    -> failed


    Any idea ?

    Is there any chance of doing a rollback ? maybe its something else, not the update...
