Help with MSN messenger and more..

Hello everybody 

I'm totally new at this,
I have now experience with linux and that is why i chose astaro, my Network skill are poor too. I work at this school and I have just installed astaro on a computer with 2 NICS. I have 3 ip-addresses from my ISP and I have 2 computers + the firewall on a switch. These three get their ip's, What I want to do is be able to be to connect normally, sharing files, printers and that stuff with these other 2 computers.  I also want to be able to use MSN and mirc DCC through the firewall how do I open these ports? Can someone guid me? also, how do I get a remote image of the linux box, I heard of putty but that didn't work.

    I guess of the 3 IP's you have, you have assigned 1 to the red interface of the firewall ?  You don't say from where you are trying to access the machines from ? "I want to do is be able to be to connect normally, sharing files, printers and that stuff "

    I guess you have this setup ?
    INTERNET--FIREWALL--SWITCH--2 Other PC's

    mirc DCC is VERY hard to get working through Astaro, suggest you try using mIRC's SOCKS proxy support and enable SOCKS proxy on the firewall.  (Make sure you use user authentication option).

    MSN does not work correctly through Astaro.  (You can text chat but not voice chat).  If someone disagrees with this let me know !
