Just installed v4. The firewalls runs OK for a while (with http and smtp proxies, port filtering, portscan detection and pptp etc) but then all access fails from the internal interface.
No internal client can use the proxies or route - no pings etc. either. All access to the firewall is lost including webadmin. However, logging on the console is still possible but all looks OK apart from not being able to ping local machines. The interfaces are all up etc. what makes it more odd is the the kernel is logging the usual packet filtered stuff from a few internal machines.
The machine needs to be restarted and will work for a few hours before it happens again.
Any ideas MORE than welcome.
