hi again,
i have two seperate network segments. They are L1(10.x.x.x)connected to eth0
L2 (192.168.x.x) connected to eth1.
I made a masq from L1 to L2 to see L2 network from a client from L1.
On the client which belongs to L1 i installed a secondary ip (alias to primary)
and made necessary changes for routing table .
But when i do a telnet from client(L1 member) to client2(L2 member) in the Filter live log
i see IP SPOOFING warnings and the telnet session is not established.
When i traceroute to client2(L2 member) from client(L1 member) it follows the right path.
In the packet filter->Rules section i give permissions like:
client1(L1 ) ->any service ->client2(L2) ->allow
but no hope..
any suggestions ?
