I really would like some Linux Mega Expert to explain the following to me.
I am running ASL 4.001
Earlier today I posted a question about the SMTP proxy - and how it kept failing on me. I have spent the whole day investigating, and found that the problem was not only on the SMTP proxy - it seemed that anywhere on the Firewall I tried to make some updates etc. I got an internal server error in return.
I found in the httpd.error_log that it is FastCGI, that most likely is part of the problem.
When ever I get the Internal Server error returned I can see the following error in the log:
(32)Broken Pipe: FastCGI: Comm with server "/usr/local/httpd/htdocs/index.fpl" aborted: write failed, referer: https://192.168.10.25:/index.fpl?SID=1497669741119&id=0117
This error kept comming all day with the same SID and id.
Then I tried from another machine - and everything worked just fine...... [:S]
Now to the real question:
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT I SOMEHOW HAVE A SESSION HANING WITH THE SERVER THAT IS NOT REMOVED AFTER A RESTART - AND IF SO - WHERE CAN I SEE IT AND HOW CAN I REMOVE IT.
Please note that I am a complete newbie to Linux - so I would need to have an explanation that understandable to such

Best regards
