Can not reach admin interface

I’m using ASTARO 4.0 with a Home User licence. Normally the firewall is running all the time. For some reason I can not reach the Administration Interface after a day or two without using the Internet. It seems that the connection dies if nobody is browsing the Internet or sending or receiving mails.  It is then also not possible to ping the internal or external interface. After rebooting the firewall everything works fine, but I couldn’t find something in the log files. 

I checked already power management in the BIOS of the machine. 

Is somebody able to help me in this case?

    From which Interface are you trying to connect? Has this Interface given an fixed IP or is it dynamic? Does this happen only if no traffic is passed? If you are trying to ping from the firewall itself what happens? So if you are using an DSL-connection you know that some providers disconnect the clients after an maximum period of 24 hours?

    I just had the crash again. I found this in my log file:

    It seems that I have a bad NIC?!

    I'm trying to connect from internal network (eth0) and have static IP. I'm using cable modem with permanent connection to the internet.

    I think they have the same problem 
     here
