HTB: Quantum...

Hello,

what does this mean:

kernel HTB: quantum of class 30010 is small.Consider r2q change.  HTB: quantum of class 30011 is small ... and so on ..

    HI there, 

    i asume you QoS enabled and it might not be configured 100% correctly.

    HTB stands for Hierachical token bucket and is the traffic shaping algorithm used by QoS.

    What do your QoS settings look like, did you configure the interface correctly?

    Good Morning,

    yes QoS is enabled.
    Configuration:
    LAN-->ASL-->ServiceProviderRouter-->WWW
    QoS is enabled on the right side of ASL, 10MBit Interface, ServiceProviderRouter to WWW 2MBit with 128 KBit upstream.
    So i configured 128 KBit as Link-Bandwidth, an 32 KBit as unshaped.
    QoS-Rules
    any-->smtp-->any-->low-->borrow
    any-->http-->any--->high--->dont borrow

    I'll play a litte bit with these settings.... :-)

    May this configuration cause a complete disconnet form the external Router (no Ping etc. -> Rules configured to allow ping)? 
    This happened yesterday, after a reboot everythings worked again.
