Request: H.323 and SIP support.

Anything known allready on the sip-support? 

Not currently supported at all afaik...

right now Astaro SL V4 supports H.323 connections throught the firewall.
This is handled with the iptables H.323 Connection Tracking helper modules.

We do not support SIP yet, but it is on our future feature roadmap.

If this is so, why doesn't MSN Messanger work using voice ?
 

As far as I know uses the new MSN Messenger SIP, which isi not supported.

MSN can use sip, but with a normal hotmail account it doesn't....
I cannot connect to a friend of mine using a SIP aware modem with voice to msn, but i can call other sip users (with phone or MSN or other software)
I thought MSN tries to make calls using uPnP

You May Want To Look At Vonage.com.  They are running a completely SIP based network.  And there configuration using the CISCO ATA Router works with ASTARO without any issues.

We also use whiteboarding and session shadowing features in MSN for doing remote software demos so this isn't mcuh use to us.  Thanks though.
