Astaro and wireless

HI folks,

is it possible to build a wireless bridge with 2 Astaro FWs with build in wireless PCI cards ?

    Should be easily done.  Check the HCL for which wireless products are supported. Currently only Prism based PCMCIA I think.

    The question was about PCI cards, and you point out that only Prism PCMCIA cards are supported...

    I hacked support for my Cisco PCI wirelesscard into Astaro v2, and I am very surprised that Astaro have such a limited range of supported cards.
    For Astaro v4 to be interesting they definately need support for well known brands like orinoco and cisco too.

    Does anyone know how v4 is implemented regarding these drivers? Compiled into the kernel or modules?

    I believe V4 supports many more cards, I can't remember for sure. Then again, the only major changes I noticed from V3 to V4 were in the GUI, it's a little nicer looking and such. Back to the topic, a full driverlis in located on the astaro.org main page (in pdf format).
