Internal NIC dead!

Hi!

I came to very strange situation already second time today.
Suddenly our FW didn't let any trafic through internal NIC. I tried with simple pinging from FW to all 3 sites (internet, DMZ and InternalNW), but InternalNW was not working.
After restart of FW I had no problem, but problem repeated after cca. 10 hours. I had no chance to check FW with Webmin from outside, but I will do my best to check it next time it happens again!

Is there any log on FW, which could tell me what was going on?

check the kernel log, you might find entries which tell you the status of the according ethX or other entries like SPOOFING.

Hi!

I really found several such entries in my log. I can see that after restarting FW they stoped.

What could couse such a behavior?
