LiveLog Filter sometimes disables inside nic

Hi all
Sometimes when I am viewing my LiveLog filter I notice certain IP's or Ports showing up, so I'll open another brower to search the net for info.
After a few minutes I can't surf anymore. If I try to ping my inside nic it times out. If I use my other computer which is on the DMZ to surf, it's ok.
The only way to get things working again is to use the console and do a shutdown now -r.
I'm on version 4.000.
Anyone else have this problem?

check kernel log either for 'spoofing' or for any 'interrupt/timeouts' (hardware related) messages...

Mmmmm. That makes sense.
I've got my dmz computer still running my old firewall software with both inside and outside nics connected and running ntp. When I checked the kernel log, it showed entries for spoofing from that computer with the dmz network IP 192.168.2.x on my internal network IP 192.168.1.x.
I turned off the ntp software and it looks like asl is working fine now. The old computer/firewall will be off line soon once I'm more familier with asl.
