Windows VPN client

Is there a Windows VPN remote client software availible?  I've been told I need a Linux box to connet to a system that uses an Astaro Firewall.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Correct... :-)  I have used both Windows 2000 and XP built-in clients successfully to connect to Astaro with PPTP.  Very easy yo set up.  

    Just run the "Add new connection" Wizard, select "Connect to the Network at my Workplace", then "Virtual Private Network Connection", give it a name (anything will do), and then give it the IP address of the Astaro machine you want to connect to.

    How about IPSEC with Built-In IPSEC-Support and Windows XP. Is there a How-To available?
    As the MS Implementation of PPTP has some security weaknesses I also would like to know if this is also with the Astaro-Implementation. I didn't check any docs about PPTP and it's exact security-issues, but it seems to be the MS implementation of the protocol. Maybe someone has helpful information on Astaro PPTP-Security. That's a way to have both ends dynamic :-)

    I think you can, I am going to test it tomorrow. It is like seting up net to net ipsec vpn, instead of selecting normal for the type, select roadworrior. I will let you know of the results.
