Automatic Web Request

My astaro firewall keeps on requesting http://www.google.de!!  Does anybody know why this is happening?  This the a sample from the log file: 

1043188016.529    271 127.0.0.1 TCP_MISS/200 3628 GET http://www.google.de - DIRECT/216.239.33.101 text/html

Every so often, it will go and get this site, and it is saying that the requester is it's own loopback. For example, all night all you would see are these requests in the log (about 300 requests in 3 hours), with no other traffic    !!!

The only thing that has changed is the surf protection upgrade.

    I saw a similar issue which I resolved by taking a week old backup and restroing back.  This resolved my problem.  With me is was looking for msn.edu

    Just a though... Check the /etc/hosts file in case it's got in there via a misconfiguration. Check the dns proxy to make sure it hasn't been poisoned to point google.de to 127.0.0.1 (run nslookup etc on a client). Also, try clearing the squid (proxy) cache on the firewall in case something in there is messed up.
