Watching the traffic

Hello,
we have an DSL Business-Account which is limited to an total Traffic of 5GB per month. The astaro is connected over eth2 to the DSL Modem.
I want to get an report how much traffic we still have done over that interface.
I tried the following
I activated the Accounting on eth2, but the results I got over reporting seem to be wrong, also they show only a per day base.
Any Idea ??

Hi!

In version ASL 4.0 you get also per month ussage!
So you can see how much traffic you already made till "today" in this month.

This is only on the paper! But it doesn't work in real life! Accounting hasn't changed since first IP-change (traffic volume)!

Everytime the IP changes, I get this message/mail:
[INF 105] Accounting not running - restarted(1 times)

Can this be the reason why the Accounting doesn't work? Is this an DSL problem?
