Two InterNet connections and one ASL ?

Have to the ASL a question.
The following is possible ?
Two InterNet connections, once via fixed connection 128Kbit and on the other hand via DSL 1024/256Kbit. Unfortunately the IP address on the DSL side change.
Background is following.
We want to make normal InterNet traffic and VPN over the 128Kbit. And over the DSL IP Telefonie and likewise VPN.
Does someone have experiences with this solution or eone better idea?

    Yes you can.  If one line is something like PPoE then you will need one NIC per internet connection.  I haven't tried one static and one DHCP on one NIC but that might work.  Two NICs is a sure thing.

    You then have both connections with a default gateway and you decide which one is the primary.  ASL will then have two gateways and give redundency.

    Routing outbound traffic over a specific line isn't so easy though.  Inbound is no problem as you just point to the desired IP (you will want ddclient or other dynamic DNS client to handle IP changes).

    I have a similar set-up where I firewall for my network (ADSL) and a neighbour's cable modem (DHCP).  We then have redundency.  A few static routes handle specific outbounds and inbound is handled by a dynamic DNS client.
