Client Authenication with Windows

If you use user authentication for the proxy, every time you close the browser and open it again you need to relogin. If you have user authentication the user name shows up in the logs, otherwise the IP address.

    Having the browser authenicate each time it is activated can be annoying and also can cause problems with products that need to update via the web etc. Is there anyway to hold open a session or to run a small routine that maintains an active pape until the user logs off?

    Windows Client authentication and logging.
    When a user logs on to their workstation and then opens up a web browser session the astaro does what? 
     
    A) does it silent authenticate so web use is transparent? The problems otherwise are each time you shut down the browser you have to log in again etc? Can you detail?

    B) is the user name passed to the logs alongise the IP address for effective user tracking.
