notification mails bouncing

Hi,

just installed Astaro FW 3.214 and it works like a charm!

However the notification mails are not coming through. Here is what the SMTP Mail Relay Queue says:

 
 This message was created automatically by the SMTP relay on mx.fw-notify.net. 

A message that you sent could not be delivered to all of its recipients. 
The following address(es) failed: 

administrator@biggles.nu 
lowest numbered MX record points to local host  
The mailserver is at the internal network. The problem seems to be that the MX record points to the external NIC of the firewall. How can I configure this to work?

    that indicates that you are running a SMTP server
    behind the firewall usind NAT, am I right?

    The MX of your domain is the firewall's external  IP. 
    To deliver it you have to enable the SMTP proxy
    once, entering a SMTP route for your domain pointing
    to your internal server! After saving the changes
    you can disable the proxy again!

    Interesting!  I knew right away to enable the proxy  for this kind of situation but never thought to disable the proxy after.  Now it makes sense, it drops a domain rule in the SMTP config and leaves it  there after turning off the proxy.  Just wondering if the rule will remain in place after an update that touches the SMTP engine?  I'm waiting to see if the SmartHost hack will remain in place after the next update (good feature to add to the interface BTW).
