ASL leaks out private IP information???

Hi,

Just logged into the web interface of my cable modem, and guess what I found. It has picked up a lot of my internal (192.168.x.x) addresses. They all map to the same MAC address, but it has active ip's from my LAN.

I am at a loss as to how this can be happening. I have gone over my rules and everything seems to be ok.

Anyone else seen this?

    Nope.. no proxy arp.. I have masq setup as follows:

    masq_0   home_45_network -> All / All   MASQ__External   None 

    This is what my cable mode is telling me:

    Learned CPE 
    MAC:
    00:02:B3:8B:E1:8F (ETH)
    IP:
    24.244.*.*
    192.168.*.*
    192.168.*.*
    192.168.*.*
    192.168.*.*
    192.168.*.*
    192.168.*.*

    After rebooting the cable modem, it takes a few days before the internal LAN IP's start to show up.

    yes the mac is always the same. That is the mac of the external interface of my firewall. The cable modem should only be "learning" the external ip address and mac, but it somehow learns ip's from behind the firewall. 

    I almost was going to say that the ip's learned were the ones I had ports forwarded to, but now there is more ip's showing that do not have ports forwarded. 

    I am using version 3.214. and do not have a fancy setup. I would gladly offer access to you if you would like to look at it. I am very puzzled now.

    ok .. my cable modem has been online again for just over one day. It has already found some ip information from behind the firewall. See:
