I have noticed from the past few months that I have not been recieving any automatical emails on the administrator email address, also I havent been receiving any automatic backup files by email.
I have a sniffer software running whcih tells me that a lot of portscan activity is taking place, however the ASL has not been sending out automatic emails to administrator email addresses to inform.
Also, the ASL has been configured to automatically send out backup files on a weekly basis. However I am not receiving any at all.
Both of these problems it seems started when the ASL was upgraded from ver 2.0 to 3.2 . I have also kept installing the other upgrades and am currently at 3.209 however this problem persists.
However a point to note is that ASL seems to be working fine other than these above problems as evidently portscan attacks are being dropped, also no one has till far been able to hack in.
How can I fix these problems and what is causing these problems to occur?
