Ok, I am having some trouble with the internal NIC on one of my Astaro boxes. From time to time I will come and sit down to browse and won't be able to get out.
The problem ends up being that my internal NIC has dropped its IP address. I can manually reassign it, but that isn't a good solution for obvious reasons.
If I restart, it will go through the boot process and then upon giving me my login prompt, it will flash up the error that eth0 doesn't have an IP address...then it will go away and give me my prompt back. So, something is quirky with it, and quirky behavior is exactly what I don't want with my Linux firewall.
Any ideas?
