QoS Upload with ADSL

I read the other postings and I understood that QoS wont work on ADSL unless you set up the internal card. I have an asymetric DSL with 1.5 MBit down and 256 KBit up.

All I want to QoS is the upload due to Servers on my internal net and the comparable low bandwidth.

So if I set the real BW of the internal card to 256 KBit does it cut down the download of 1.5 MBit aswell?

Hi,

a Real BW limitation will only effect packets which match a QoS Rule, so it depends on your wits to set rules which only match upload traffic [:)]
