QoS not working with ADSL

I tried to configure QoS with ADSL. I read the other posts about the topic, but as no one offical answered on them, I repost the topic.

I have tried a Realtek 8139C and a 3Com905B network card connected to the adsl modem. Both of them reproduce the same error. The connecten gets build up, after that the middleware isnt running and some deamon tries to restart it. The internal Network Card looses its ip and the pppoe connection gets restarted. This happens so often till the deamon kills the pppoe connection for 15 minutes. After that the same starting and killing goes on and on forever. I noticed that most of the cpu time is eaten up by the snmp deamon. It seems to loop.

In the superdeamon log I find the following:

Nov 13 19:58:09 host superdaemon.pl[5835]: increasing interval for main to 10 seconds
Nov 13 19:58:30 host superdaemon.pl[5835]: decreasing interval for main to 5 seconds
If anyone solved the problem please let me know or provide some info.

    there is a search function available at UBB     

    It's a known issue that QoS doesn't work with
    DSL Interfaces.

    But you could rule it with the internal interface,
    too. Andreas wrote some interesting articles about
    it - just search for "QoS".

    I know that it is a know issue, but its not in the list of reported bugs and there is not info on when its going to be corrected, so I just wanted to know if this is ever going to happen  [;)]
