Upgrading to from v2 to v3

I have decided to upgrade to version v3. When I last bought licence there was mentioned that licenses in v3 are different than in v2 and I should upgrade the license key too. I also see that if i enter the v2 license key into v3 it doesn't much help.

Unfortunately I have lost the email I got and now I can't recall the exact instructions how to upgrade license.

Could you help me please ?

go to http://www.astaro.com/html/gb/registration.htm
in the up right corner you see "registration portal", click there, register you as a new user and then you can convert your v2 key to a v3 one.

When converting V2 licence to V3 license can i still use V2 licence legally in my production firewall while upgrading. It will take several days to complete all tasks and make switch over ?
