hangup DSL - Connection

I got an DSL-Connection, but I don't have a flatrate. How do I hang-up the DSL-Connection when it's not needed ?

    Well I was able to kill the pppd with "kill -SIGINT PID" yet, but after a minute it starts again. I searched for the options file, but I didn't find any. There is a DSL.sh script and I removed all while loops from it, without any effect. Does anyone know how to solve this problem ?
